LA's dollar book store

We found this little place called piccolos book store where everything in the store was only a dollar.... yes everything! (they had a million signs up that said that) so we got all of these books plus like six more that are not in this picture for  under 15 bucks! I loved that little store we had lots of date nights there and at the movie theater next door.

Jakey was on the phone setting up our basement apartment in utah! we got so lucky to get a place with only a week until we got there. we cut it pretty close but thats the life of a busy med student. I drove jake bonkers trying to get him to make that call haha!

I drove jake to the VA hospital everyday even with the crazy traffic we spent a lot of time in the car! 

I locked jake out of the car, but who can resist that face!

For a date night we went to the LA Fashion District, we didn't end up getting anything but it was fun seeing the little mexico right down the street!

Jacob was so good to me, he brought me flowers all the time! he is such a sweetheart!

One night some one burned a pizza on the first floor and the fire alarm when off  for an hour! it felt like forever so we put a towel over it to block out the sound! 

Our walmart in LA was not only inside a mall but it was 3 stories high and it had cart lifts on it! it was so weird to shop there ..it was cool but it was the worst kept walmart it looked like it was black friday. I think it was because it was 3 levels if people decided they didnt want something that was from the first floor they would just stuff it on the shelf of the third floor! crazy ... anyway we had a good time there it was fun

This is our beta fish we bought his name is Pox because he looks like he has chicken pox on his face but we call him Paco for short he is a good little fishie I already killed him once and he came back to life..he is a miracle fish... i think he has 3 lives lets hope i don't use the other 2 

Our First dinner in our "home"  if you count  hotel as a home ;)

Jake was so exhausted on day he came home and crashed and fell asleep at like 5 in the afternoon and didnt wake up till the next day poor baby!
