Mason Merrill will be missed!
This is one of the many news reports of what happened to mason (news report 1) He was hit on his scooter by a 15year old who left right after the accident. people who saw the accident tried to help Mason but he passed away right after the accident on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. He was 22 years old and had been in remission from non hodgkin's lymphoma cancer last year.Some of my fav memories of Mason:
-I met mason on June, 24 2009 when I went with my friend Jake Rheingans to his mutual BBQ. We hung out together a few times after that and i'll never forget how fast Jake R. and Mason could chow down a box of Krispy Kreme donuts
- we also had a regular routine of grabbing a happy hour sonic drink and hiking up "spook mountain" and hang out
-we also had so much fun sneaking on top of the Mariot Hotel to look at the view! such rebels! we had some of our funnest times up there
-Mason was famous in my book for his homemade chicken Alfredo and soft tacos with el pato sauce yum!
- Midnight movie lines were never boring with Mason doing handstands on everything.. literally everything even the top of a light pole
- Every sunday night was walk around the temple night and go to the visitors center. He loved bring to people to see the beautiful temple grounds
-even if he had no money he would find some way to take me on a fun date no matter what.
-Three songs remind me of mason "What Is Love" "Good Morning Beautiful" and "Mad World" no matter what we did together I heard all of these at least once!
-although my mom never liked it we had so much fun cliff jumping
-Onions not Ongions!
-I'll never forget the two fun school dances we went to together and how you asked me the first one was a ballet doll that said be a doll and go to the dance with me and the other one was taking me to the top of spook mountain and burning the word prom below on the ground
-And So many other things!
I am going to miss mason so much! Im so glad that I met him and was able to get to know him! I know that his time on earth is done, but that heaven and our heavenly father love him and need him to continue the work on the other side.
