Months 7&8

Aug 24
Jacob and Jaycie have started sleep training this last week and they are doing amazing. It is so hard to let them cry because their cries are sooooo sad but they usually only cry fdor 5-10 mins and fall asleep on their own. That is getting such good sleep at nbight they slept almost 11 hours and only woke up a few times to eat!
THey are both starting to do pushup on their tippy toes and hands
Jaycie's top side teeth are coming through
Jakies top milld teeth are getting swollen but not through yet

Aug 25
Jaycie has started to rock back on her knees
Jacob is almost sitting up on his own
Jaycie is saying consonants really well and still loves to sing with you while you are singing to her, she is so musical.
Jacob is babbling a lot and loves to buzz his lips. today he even buzzed them back and forth with me
Jaycie has played peekaboo a few times on her own she will hide her face and pop her head up
Jacob is rolling around easily and likes patterns on fabric sooo much he will reach so far to touch polka dots or anything different.

Aug26
Jaycie has started to push up on all fours and is loving to practice in her crib when she should be sleeping
Jacob has been so sleepy today, he must be going through a growth spirt He almost fell asleep in his jumper and on the play blanket
They are both loving food so
Jaycie really like to play with light-up/sound toys
Jacob has been loving soft stuffed animals and anything

Aug29
both are sleeping 11hours at night and starting to work on naps
Jaycie has her two front side teeth in, and her two front are on their way
Jaycie has been rolling onto her knees
jaycie also has been playing peekaboo more with everyone
Jaycie also loves to sneeze, she loves when you say bless you to her, today she tried to do another sneeze by buzzing her tounge so that i would say bless you
Jacob has started rocking on all fours today! he just did it once
Jacob has also started to grunt to all of his toys like he is having a conversation with them
Jacob also has his front teeth coming in, they are just swollen right now
Jacob loves to do pushups
he also still loves stuffed animals sooooo much, he rubs his face on everything soft

Sept 4
Jaycie is up on all fours all the time now
Jacob has started rocking on all fours
Jaycie and Jacob are both babbling a lot
they have been sick so they have been sleeping really well, two one hour naps and a 30 minute nap
Jacob has the top two teeth bulging
Jaycie has the side teeth coming in and the front one starting to come in now

Sept 6
jacob's top teeth are starting to break through soon he was bitting everything
Jaycie has three of the top teeth broken through and one bulging and the bottom she is starting to get the side ones breaking through too
Jacob was talking all day today, grunting and babbling
Jaycie has been continuing to sit better and better she can do it on her own mostly now
they love the bears that G-pa &G-ma Mac gave them, they both light up when they see them

Sept 20
Jacob has his front two teeth and his bottom two
Jacob loves to bite anything soft especially trying to bite the blanket underneath him
Jaycie has all 8 of her front teeth now
Jaycie loves to bite your fingers really hard especially when you are holding her hands while she is standing
Jacob and Jaycie both have a contagious laugh that I absolutely love!
Jaycie has been trying to push back from her Hands and knees to her bum
Jacob has been loving to do a push up
Jaycie has been trying to babble non stop, she loves to scream and says a "P" sound
Jacob loves to talk when he is tired but he is very stowic otherwise
Jaycie teases so much, she loves to giggle and tease especially when I am changing her poopy diaper
Jacob and Jaycie have started eating more solids and they love to eat black beans, they also love to eat fruit like peaches

Sept 27th
Jacob fell off the counter top with mom holding him, he pushed back and I wasnt right behind him to catch him and he fell and flipped all the way around and landed on the front of his head. He ended up not even having a bruise! we took him to the emergency department and they checked him over and he did so so good! he is such a sweet boy.

Oct 5
Jacob loves to be on his hands and feet with his bum in the air, he loves looking upside down between his legs
Jacob and Jaycie both love to stand by the couch
Jaycie has been pushing herself backwards and loves to roll halfway onto her two knees and arm
Jacob can roll anywhere he wants to
Jaycie has been continuing to babble and loves to talk to everyone especially at church
Jaycie is having her first bum rash and hates rice pudding
Jacob loves to try anything that I am eating
I think Jacob and Jaycie are going through an 8 month sleep regression

Oct 10
Jacob can turn in a circle and still loves going upside down with his bum up rock on his hands and knees and loves to stand with you holding him and bounce
Jaycie loves when you help her sit and play, she really likes to stand with you holding her and is rocking back and forth on her knees and scoots back on her tummy and turns around
Jaycie said dada really clearly, she also could have been saying dog she has been saying the "p" and has also said baba a lot sound a lot and loves to yell at you, she is such a tease she loves to laugh when you do something she has never seen you do before, Especially when you shew a fly
Jacob love to copy you and yell when you yell
Jacob has been not really loving strangers at this stage
Jacob got his first hair cut from mom

Oct 20th
Jacob can get around where ever he wants now he pushes up on his arms and pulls his body forward
he loves to bounce when your holding him even more and loves to stand by the couch with help
Jaycie can scoot backward really well and she loves to rock on her hands and knees she can turn all the way in a circle and is close to scooting, Jaycie has started to put her bum in the air and go upside down, Jaycee loves to stand by the couch with help
Jacob loves to rock to music, anything with a beat he starts bobbing his head
Jaycie has started to move her body to the music and loves to move when you sing to her especially
Jaycie has been saying dada a lot ..she loves to laugh at any thing especially if you burp or if you laugh in her face
Jacob loves to clap at anything he this is cool
Jaycie loves to rock on the big blue recliner and Jacob likes to chew on it and play with the handle
Jacob like to try to say the "m" sound and says baba clearly
Jacob has 6teeth until his 7th lower right tooth broke through today
they are both having a sleep regression since they are working on so many skills right now
they both are fascinated with everyones teeth and mouths
both love to play on the couch and love their daddy, when he comes in they both get so excited
they like to eat, Jacob has been loving more chunky purred and Jaycee likes more of the dry real foods, they both gag and sometimes puke while eating.
 Jacob doesn't like strawberries and Jaycie hates rice pudding
Jaycie loves sweet potatoes and puffs, Jacob loves anything that mom is eating and broccoli

Five and six months

June 14th
Jaycie totally giggled s full up little girl giggle today!
Jake peed on me while we were getting the bath tub ready
June 19th
Jaycie has started to touch her toes
Jaycie loves when we do “boo” in her face
Jacob went to the doctor and has his first ear ache
Jacob laughed out loud and started to get ticklish
Jacob started buzzing his lips all. The. Time.
Both stick their feet in the pool
Jaycie woke up upside down and likes to arch upside down on the boppy
Jaycie loves to sing and coo when you look at her
Jacob has been yelling and getting excited instead of cooing
June 20th
Jaycie is doing like a push up on straight arms
Jacob woke up in the middle of the night to buzz his lips
Jacob trying to roll from front to back by arching his back
Both sitting and standing when being held
June 24
Jaycie has a lower (her right) tooth pop through!!
Jakey has started scooting maybe creeping, pushing with his legs and letting his face drag on the floor
Jake loves the song fish and chips and vinegar and always giggles at the word vinegar!
Jaycie loves the singing puppy dog and won’t take her eyes off of it
June 26
Jacob Loves the new jumping chair we got, he loves it and is still trying to figure out how to jump
Jaycie is so miserable from her teeth hurting but she is so sting and try’s to play and be happy she is so tough
Jaycie is basically sleep trained she can put her self to sleep when we lay her down awake unless she is not feeling good ... it is so nice
Jakey has gotten into a bad habit sleeping on mom he has no clue how to put himself to sleep because he yells sooo loud that I can’t let him figure it out because he will wake jaycie up
Jacob and jaycie both love to touch their toes and play with their feet but they both have such tight ham strings that they can’t reach their toes to their mouths!
It is so sweet when Jacob and jaycie both love to touch your face when you talk to them or sing to them it is so sweet
Jaycie has been loving to sing with you when you put her to sleep she is soooo sweet!!!
Jacob has the most contagious laugh
They both have started to giggle and I just die with love for them when they laugh it is so rewarding and makes all the hard times worth it!
July 4
Jaycie second tooth is starting to look through.. it is the front bottom one on her left
Jakes teeth are bothering him but his back molars are bumpy poor guy
Their hair is noticeably way longer and growing so fast
They love when their daddy swooshes a blanket on their face and they are giggling out load more
Jacob is scooting a lot on his own
Jaycie is using her arms during tummy time a lot
July 8
Jacob has started to sleep through his first nap and he can put himself back to sleep!
We are starting to sleep babies in pack and plays and cribs because they are getting too. If for the bassinets
They are starting to be able to stay awake longer so we can actually go places!
Jacob wore Jake and I wore jaycie at church .. jaycie lasted about 20minires and then wanted out but jakey loved it
July 13th
Jacob and jaycie tried baby oatmeal for the first time and they both loved it jakey a little bit more
July 15th
They both tried pea purée it was such a mess and they ate the entire container
Jakey is close to rolling from back to front
Jaycie can push all the way up on her arms to only her belly button touching
Jaycie also started buzzing her lips and doing the cutest little scream/squeek when

she is mad
Jakey has his teeth coming I think, he has been so misrible today and was putting everything in his mouth
Jakey rubs his face on soft things and puts his bum in the air
Jakey has started to roll to the side and almost from back to front! Any day he will be rolling all over!
July20th
Jakey Rolled from back to front for the first time
Jakey is teething really bad
Jaycie has been sleeping so much better at night time she really only wakes up once or twice
Jakey wakes up like 3-4 times in the night
July 25th
Jakey had his first tooth break through.. his left front tooth!
Jaycie has been trying to drop her 4th nap of the day
July 29th
Jacob is rolling over whenever he wants to and has started trying to army crawl a little he also is starting to get his second tooth in
Aug 10th
Jacob is rolling so easily now all directions and he scoots backward and does pushups on his arms
He also is loving buzzing his lips and loves his mama, he always grins so big when his dad plays with him he loves to eat food and has started sleeping better at night, he even had a two hour nap today which never happens he also loves to bounce in the bouncer
Jaycie is getting so strong she is pushing up on her arms and reaching for everything she still loves toys the best and hates tummy time  she enjoys to sit and loves light up loud toys, jaycie is babbling sooo much o think she even said dada today. She is so smart and loves to watch what her brother is playing and when she can’t play with it she does a high pitched squeal!
They both are so cuddly and sweet babies but they love to not miss the action during the day, they still like 30 minute naps and are staring to enjoy real foods and purées. They are so strong and so big!
Aug14th
Jaycie is rolling from back to front now!!! She is getting so strong
Jacob can roll over and sleep on his tummy sometimes he has also slept a few times through the 30minute nap wake up
We are trying to sleep jaycie in the crib and she is too excited that it is a new place to sleep
Jaycie sings song when she is being sung to
Jacob can creep and roll to get to what ever toys he wants, he also had started to do push-ups
They are both teething, the top (I think side ish teeth) for jaycie are starting to poke out
Jaycie has started to babble a ton she said dada yesterday
Jacob said mama when I walked out of the room yesterday! They both didn’t do it on purpose but I loved it!!
